Nominaciones a los Independent Spirit Awards

Seguimos con la carrera de premios. El próximo paso es conocer los nominados a los Independent Spirit Awards, los galardones por excelencia para el cine independiente, y bastante significativos de cara a los Oscar, a menos que en la recta final se cuele alguna superproducción. Las favoritas son "The Artist" -ganadora para el Círculo de Críticos de Nueva York- y "Take Shelter". Pero quizá lo más llamativo ha sido la ausencia de los que más suenan para los Oscar. Hablamos de George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Felicity Jones y Joseph Gordon-Levitt, entre otros. Cuanto menos chocante, como también choca que “El árbol de la vida” no esté presente, así como Michael Fassbender por “Shame”. Pero claro, es británica y estos son los premios del cine indie. Por su parte, “Margin Call” parte con premio seguro, el Robert Altman, que premia al reparto, además de estar nominada como ópera prima y primer mejor guión. Como siempre, sabremos los ganadores un día antes de los Oscar, el 25 de febrero.
